The Desert Flour Bakery Bistro - Sedona

Even though I live close nearby, I find it to be a wonderful place to which to escape. It is an very basic, unassuming place wherein exists an ambiguous zone of comfort, occasionally punctuated by the friendly, familiar waitstaff, who once they know your name, will greet you, on subsequent visits, by name, much like Cheers ' 'NORM! '. Absent is the normal clatter and chatter noise level of the typical coffee shop or St**bucks, save for the unsolicited sarcastic verbal jousting from the staff...Haha, just kidding 'Margaret '... great place for visitors to stop on the way home to grab a coffee and a nosh for the road... and a happy bit of Sedona small-town hospitality as they head back to their particular reality...

We are here visiting beautiful Sedona and stopped in for dinner and live Jazz music last night. Friendly, kind service and yummy food!! Thank you Tammy!

Love Desert Flour Bakery. The people, food and all around vibe is excellent. The only place I eat at when I am in Oak Creek playing.

Looking a bit simple from the outside, but the interior values are perfect! As Germans we were surprised about the really good bread (dark nine-corn) and had the first really good and natural salad in Arizona without tons of sauce... great!

We stopped in to have breakfast before going to a meeting. Quiet and quaint. The food was delicious and the coffee hot! We will be going back.
