Kasturi - Sefton

I spent another very nice evening in the kasturi. as always all staff members a particularly the manager were very friendly and professional. would recommend any curry fan.

One, if not the best Indian in the south. highly recommended.

I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The Haque family is wonderful and they welcome all guests with their fantastic hospitality. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. They use high-quality ingredients, such as their premium bun which is double the price but definitely worth it. This curry house has been a favorite of mine since 2000, and I highly recommend it for a great dining experience.

I always thought Kasturi sounded more like a Japanese martial art than an Indian restaurant. However, Kasturi actually means 'musk' in Nepali. When I think of musk, I don't necessarily think of something positive. But when I think of Kasturi the restaurant, my memories are much more pleasant. This well-established restaurant on Eastbank Street in Southport specializes in Indian cuisine and offers a cozy and comfortable environment for customers to enjoy a meal. Their menu has a wide selection of dishes, with options for every taste, whether you like your curries sharp, hot, or creamy and mild. Additionally, they offer a selection of specialties and cooking recommendations for those feeling adventurous or looking for something different. They also have a website with pictures of some of their dishes, which is a particularly useful feature for those who like to judge a meal by its appearance.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did not name their daughter after this Southport Indian restaurant. Unlike many Indian restaurants in the area that have a more casual takeaway feel, this establishment offers a sophisticated dining experience with authentic flavors and excellent service. Run by a passionate family, the prices may be higher than average due to the use of high-quality ingredients such as premium meats and fresh vegetables. Despite initial skepticism, the difference in taste is undeniable. The attentive service and delicious food, paired with the elegant decor of the building, make for a delightful dining experience. While it may be a bit pricey, it's definitely worth saving up for a special occasion.
