The Grapevine Restaurant And Wine Bar

I visited this restaurant on the 5th of February and it is an amazing wine bar restaurant. The staff goes above and beyond to assist customers and create a relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious and the cocktails in the evening are exceptional. This place is a hidden gem.

On our first visit to The Grapevine as a couple, we had heard many great things from friends. We had a table booked for 8:15, but arrived at 8:05. The staff immediately seated us and we ordered drinks, but I had to go up to the bar to order our food since no one had come to our table after delivering our drinks. It seemed like we had been forgotten, with waiters and bar staff running around the floor. We waited a while for our food, which was understandable considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was delicious and we would definitely come back to eat there again. However, I feel like we should have booked our table at least an hour earlier to avoid waiting so long. We ended up rushing through our meals and drinks, as we had made plans to meet friends in the village and didn't expect to be out so late. Overall, the experience didn't feel as relaxing or satisfying as I had hoped for my birthday. I wanted to order a personalized dessert, but felt like it would have been too much hassle and taken too long. Unfortunately, we had to rush to pay the bill and leave. It was a shame.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and it definitely won't be our last. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the cozy atmosphere. It was a nice change from the loud pub atmosphere. We highly recommend this place.

Nice staff, lovely eating, good prices, which would not like to recommend to everyone.£5.00 lunch menu is also the take away Sunday afternoon is delicious!

I felt very welcome when my partner and I went through the door. the waitress who served our table was extremely friendly and friendly, and was always to check that we were satisfied with everything. eating was just delicious. we ordered a selection of tapas that was mouthwater, and the waitress recommended a magnificent tasting wine to accompany the food. we couldn't find anything, and a nice touch came when one of the chefs asked if everything was good. a very impressive little business! (and we later had a drink in the bar below)!
