Hins - Selby

Used to be our favourite Chinese. Absolutely not anymore. Food took 1 hour 40 minutes from ordering on a Wednesday night. Now I understand on weekends or if they even updated via email but the delivery was due 40 minutes later. When delivered food was luke warm at best and delivery driver rude. My stepdad said thank you and the delivery driver said nothing not hello, not your welcome, not sorry for your wait. Won't be returning. Lost a pretty regular customer too

Used to be the best Chinese in the area, last order absolutely disgusting. I actually gagged from choking on bones and PLASTIC in the meal. Flavours were still there but that is INEDIBLE. We will never order from Hins again.

Food is good but don’t order a delivery, they have taken 2hrs twice for us now (when the initial delivery time was 40 mins)and just say they are “busy”. They are taking too many orders and can’t satisfy their customer expectations. Either pick your food up Yourself or go somewhere else….we will!

Been using them for years but since moving to Hemingbrough the delivery is shocking. Today I pre-ordered food at 12pm to get food delivered at 6.55pm. Oh bet an hour late, and it’s not the first time! Even though they are the only ones in Selby that do honey spare ribs I will not ordering from them again.

We’ve just moved to the area so tried out this Chinese takeaway for the 1st time last night. Very easy to order online, booked it to arrive at 8pm which it did, pipping hot and very very tasty. We’ll definitely be using this one again 10/10
