The animals live in a free environment no cages for the cats they are happy healthy playful. The owners go above and beyond for them and have sacrificed so much to keep this place going during this difficult time. Please help if you can with food, litter etc..
I’ll start with this. This is my families happy place. We have loved coming here since they opened their doors. We plan on staying for a 1/2 an hour but always wind up staying longer because we never want to leave. We love being able to play and interact with all the cats. And as was bound to happen, we finally decided to adopt one of the kittens. We really liked one particular kitten but someone else started the adoption process before us. The owner, Jennifer, took me to the side and told me she had a kitten, Vera, that was just brought up from a kill shelter in the south who would be up for adoption and she thought of us right away. I can honestly say that I’m glad the 1st kitten we were interested in went to another loving home because Vera fits in perfectly with our family. This is because Jennifer took the time to get to know us and knew what we were looking for in a cat. Jennifer gives so much of herself to her rescue. All she wants is to find good homes for all these animals. She even took Guinea Pigs in to help find them homes. The animals are all well taken care of and are happy. They ask for a $5 donation per person when you go which I gladly give knowing it all goes back to the animals. You can stay for as long as you’d like and even leave and come back the same day at no additional cost. Bottom line, if you are looking to adopt a cat or just want to spend time with cats to make your day brighter, you must come here. You’ll be very happy you did. And take the time to say hi to the Jennifer, the owner. She’s a wonderful person with a very big heart.
I loved watching the cats interact with their environment because it was so clear that they were so comfortable there. The place was clean and every cat looked happy and well taken care of.
Most of the cats have runny eyes and noses, they just don't seem taken care of and from what I've heard, they don't get regular veterinary care.
I noticed that the kittens had discharge in their eyes, and their nails were excessively long and poorly maintained. The staff member was not wearing a mask during a pandemic, which was concerning. Some of the cats appeared to be unwell. One of the cats was aggressive, and I wasn’t informed about this before trying to pet her; she ended up biting me. It would have been helpful to know beforehand. These unfortunate cats really need better care.
