It's a must. It has an almost Hogwarts (or Biltmore feels at it). The beautiful landscape makes it even more magical. The service was amazing, fast and friendly. You order by checking out what you want on a map like a golf score card. The sweet frits are the best I've ever tried. Unlike most sweet potatoes, they are not covered with sugar, they salt it. They're sweet, but not excessively sweet. And they don't make you feel like you're sneaking (snuck? in the kitchen at night and ate a whole dish of brownies. The only downfall was the beer braid. It had hardly any taste and the caramelized onions were soggy. I didn't eat more than three bites. Of the other orders that came and the reviews on Google, I would have ordered a burger. Turn next to the inn. Go on. You're not lost. Before the last house on the right side (the yellow summer house, turn right. It is easy to pass the entrance as it is not marked.
Food was excellent. Hamburger was not just ordinary. Had flavor. Friendly staff, quick service. Atmosphere was bright and inviting. Restaurant was full all the time we were there. We will be going back. Thank you Tammy, you are doing a great job
So glad they are open! Great place for lunch, or a dinner and drinks. They new bar is fantastic, and well stocked. They have happy hour specials from 2 to 6 every day. I tried the beyond burger, first time I've had one, it was very good. I could not tell there was no meat. I also had the pimento cheese fries, which had pimento cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. They were incredible, never though pimento cheese would be good on fries. The atmosphere of the grill is very nice, they have large tvs for sports or new. The staff was excellent in answering questions, and helping order. Service was quick and the food was hot. I can't wait to come back.
Despite the limited menu, everything we tried was spot on. We’re so glad we discovered this little hidden gem. The kids shared a turkey burger on a gluten-free bun, and we were really pleased that they had this option, as one of my toddlers has a gluten sensitivity. My husband ordered the Miss Dessie burger and said it was flavorful, savoring every bite. I had a quinoa bowl that was absolutely delicious and an incredible deal at just $6! We all shared a basket of crinkle fries with a side of pimento cheese, which everyone loved. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth taking a detour off the main highway to visit! The staff was friendly and accommodating as well.
