Goebels Country Store - Shady Cove

My friend and I had packed their Bar-B-Que Brisket sandwiches with one side of BBQed Jalapenos with cheese in bacon. I'll go back there. Soon!!! They also have chickens and ribs. I'll see her. I hope to see you there too. Enjoy

The BBQ food was fantastic. Had the smoke brisket and it was flavorful and tender. Want to go back for the pork belly. Will stop in again on my way through Shady Cove. Might even have to take a road trip just for the place. Service was outstanding.

The bbq is certainly on a par with Texas barbecue. Turns out Laura the owner moved from New Braunfels Texas to Oregon a few years back. We ordered a pound of spare ribs and a 1/2 lb of brisket and sat outside on her picnic table and enjoyed this meal. The meat just fell off the bones. Both were cooked with a fabulous rub and barbecue sauce on the side was delicious. Dinner was $22, it was more than we could possibly eat. As we were leaving the next day for Crater Lake Natl Park, we ordered a little extra. We had enough for lunch the next day as well as our next day dinner. If you are in the area, I highly recommend.

Amazing poppers! Bean and cheese tacos used to be yummy too. Staff is cool most the time and the owners are cool was better with the wood imported and decent portions but still very very yummy if in the area..

DESTINATION BBQ. Once you eat this BBQ it will become the almighty standard for all other BBQ you ever have had or ever will eat in your life forevermore. Absolute love and adoration for this special little place. I wake up at night in a cold meat sweat dreaming of the brisket sando. The entire menu is a fantastic journey. The specials are like a religious awakening. These people need to charge double or start a cult.
