Panda Express - Shakopee

This Panda Express is in the Talfair theme park. The menu is limited, but there are many combinations. The portions are very generous and the dishes are made when ordering. It is the best value for a meal in the park.

Usually very good and what you would expect from a normal panda express. Not as many selections as regular locations, but still very good. One of Valley Fairs better values for food options.

This Panda Express is a bit different from other locations, as you have to select a specific plate number and cannot make any modifications. However, they still provide a decent portion for the price. When I inquired at the checkout about why modifications weren't allowed, I was informed that they are under the management of Valleyfair and must follow the directives of the park's supervisors. If I were to visit again and had to choose a plate, I would go with plate #3. The Sweet Fire Chicken Breast is delicious, with just the right amount of spice, and it pairs well with the Orange Chicken.

My friend and I ordered orange chicken with half chow mein and half fried rice, along with some stir-fried crushed cabbage and two vegetable rolls. Overall, everything tasted good, but there were a few pieces of crushed cabbage that had a bitter taste. Additionally, the egg rolls reminded me of potato soup and gravy, which wasn’t what I expected.

When I finally reached the window, I met a dedicated employee named Peter. He apologized for the wait, even though he was the only one managing everything at that moment. I have to commend him—he was juggling food preparation and customer service like a pro. His commitment was evident, even in such a hectic situation. This young man definitely deserves a raise!
