Proper fish and chips cooked in dripping as they always should be, taste is superb. Not the biggest portions but excellent quality more than makes up for that.

Great staff, very genuine and open until 9. Always work quickly and they have screens up to be covid safe

I've lived here for 6 years and never ever had a bad experience here. I live around the corner so we have frequent visits. The portions are massive and similar on price if not cheaper than some other places. I'm going to posting more of my meals on here to show that they are very good portions. Yes parking can be tricky but not a massive issue. Also nothing the restaurant can do about that. We always get a space and I think we once had to do a loop because of parking.you could easily park close by and walk tho. This place is the best!

First time I ever used this chippy was about 8 years ago and although the food was okay it took ages fir tge perdon in front to get served due to the constant questions he was asked , it went something like this : What can i get you love? Chips , cake and peas please Large or small chips ? (Peruses price list) Ermmmm small please Open or wrapped? On a tray ? Please Do you want your peas on top ? Off in before your fishcake? Ermmmm on top Any scraps ? Erm yeah go on , just a few (looks aghast as she shovels a bucketfull on) Do you want to put your salt and vinegar on before I put your peas on ? No you 're okay That yes or no ? No Did you say open or wrapped ? Open What about them blades eh best team in Yorkshire! (Nods at photo on wall) Smiles back even though a Wednesday fan Large or small peas ? Small ...........by this time I 'm starting to lose the will to live ! Anyway have been a few times recently the fish is always nicely cooked £2.20 Is a ridiculously high price for a portion of chips . I disagree with the reviewer who complains about not selling kebabs ?!?! The clue is in the name ! Big complaint though and this applies to most chippies butter the **** breadcakes properly ! And lastly cut the rattle, don 't talk about football to customers and listen to what they ask for

A chippy that doesn’t sell Any type of kebab. Expensive and very small portions. Not worth your money. The photo is a large chips. The photo doesn’t truly show how small the portion was
