Pizza Hut Drakehouse Sheffield

After waiting 50 minutes for our food at the restaurant, I had to ask a staff member to check on our order. Even after the staff member went to find out, we still did not receive an explanation. Eventually, I was informed that our order had been mistakenly boxed by the kitchen staff. I requested a full refund, which was promptly given by the manager. Despite the restaurant being quiet when we arrived, I was disappointed that we were not informed about the error made by the kitchen staff. It was unacceptable that we had to repeatedly ask for updates and explanations regarding our order. We will not be returning to this establishment due to the exceptionally poor customer service we experienced. I am now left waiting for a refund for food that we never received. This level of service was shocking, especially considering Pizza Hut is a large franchise. On a positive note, the KFC we visited afterwards provided fantastic service. Pizza Hut needs to improve their operations, as our experience today was a complete disaster. I am most frustrated by the lack of communication and apology from the staff regarding the mistake made by the kitchen staff.

The food is decent, but the prices are high for what you receive. Pizza used to be an affordable meal, but not anymore.

You must order using a QR code. The pizza lacked enough pepperoni. Drinks were pricey. Overall, not impressed.

Restaurant is clean, ideal for family meals with children, staff are friendly and helpful, thw pizzas are delicious, my granddaughter loved her children's meal of chicken pizza and the serve yourself ice cream dessert.

The food is as you'd expect for pizza hut, very much standardised (which is fine) it comes out hot and fast, very nice, though a bit expensive for what it is. The service is a little lacking the staff do a good job but the company insists on using online ordering which is just so much more hassle than having a real person take an order, takes the human element out of the process which is a shame, as the staff are really nice and friendly. The atmosphere is lacking as there is music but it's drowned out by something like 15 air con vents, which are *loud*, far louder than anything else in the restaurant. Update April 2024: Came in fairly late on a Sunday (in the last hour of opening) food was really nice, very fresh staff made sure salad bar was updated with fresh product staff were pretty attentive (considering the current ordering process) and friendly price is still too steep IMO, considering overall quality and quantity of food you get a better deal elsewhere
