The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately the staff, particularly Abbie Hodson, were extremely rude. Their poor service and attitude completely ruined my experience.

I made a reservation for drinks only at this restaurant and was seated less than a meter away from the next table, which made me feel uncomfortable given the current COVID situation. After a few minutes, we were told that someone else needed our table within the next hour, so we didn't feel very relaxed while trying to enjoy our drinks. This was my first visit to this restaurant and unfortunately, it will also be my last.

I recently went to this restaurant with friends on a Saturday evening. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, with no loud music or shouting, just people chatting warmly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, all homemade and great value. The pies were particularly tasty. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again.

Went here for Sunday Lunch time) wasn’t disappointed it was lovely and plenty of it even bring you extra gravy Well worth a visit

Excellent food staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere. I can recommend it especially as it's Christmas. A truly oldy worldly feel because it's a very old pub and its retained that feels.
