The Royal Elephant Thai - Sheffield

I HAD THE WORST MEAL I HAVE HAD FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. I CHOSE THE THAI RED CURRY.The chicken was tough, the pieces too big and tasteless.I complained to the waitress who said nothing.I complained again when I came to pay, she took all my money and never apologised.I shall never go there again.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

We chose the buffet rather than menu, and were not disappointed. There was plenty of choice of starters and mains all were delicious. The meat was so tender flavours really good. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again.

Never disappointed with this place, the food, service and place its self is excellent. The Thai menu is very comprehensive and each dish is presented so well.

We went this afternoon, very busy but although we booked which is essential, we were about 15 minutes waiting for the table. The food as always is excellent. The Yorkshire puddings not as good as Toby but there the comparison ends. Personally sprouts swede mushrooms and onions extra to all the usual veg makes the royal elephant stand out from the others. One star missing because I just want the onions more tender and caramelized.
