What a beautiful little jewel of a café teashop. excellent cooked breakfast, best sausages of all time! great food, great prices and friendly staff. highly recommended for a visit, they will not be disappointed

I 'll start off by saying that I liked this place. The place feels cosy and the staff were nice. Unfortunately the breakfast bap I ordered was disappointing. The egg was undercooked with not only runny yolk (which might be okay, depending on your taste) but but runny egg white as well, which I don 't like at all. The sausage seemed like a very ordinary one and seemed cooked partly by steaming it, and the bread roll was not too fresh either. The coffee was, strong but lacking the depth of a locally roasted coffee. This all might be okay if it 's the year 1970 and the name of the place has the word 'CAF ' in it. I 'm a bit spoiled though because for the last three years my local cafe on Queens Rd. in Leicester served up a fantastic breakfast with artisan type ingredients, for about the same price as here. I can 't say that I won 't be back, because as I mentioned, the place itself is nice, and most people seem to like it, but next time I will probably skip the breakfast and try something else.
