Camino Viejo Mexican - Sherman

I have been horribly offended by the meals we received tonight. Won?t be back for awhile. Buyer beware! So this is what I have been excitedly looking for great Tex-Mex! Today we tried the cheese enchiladas w/beans and rice as our sides, a mexicansampler, and of course guacamole! No bites left it was so good, just wish I had thought about saving room for sopapilla?s????Okay here is the only opportunity I found for improvement. Add more filling in the cheese enchiladas, the flavor can handle it.

It's just good Tex-mex with a twist, like veggie tacos and spinach enchiladas. The salsa is crazy good. Fresh and zesty.

Service and food were fantastic. It is a hole in the wall, hidden away just off the city square but wow what a great place to eat. It was clean and the people were nice. BYOB if that is important to you.

The tortilla soup is the best I've found around. All the food was high quality, presented nice and above all tasty.

Great little authentic traditional Mexican food restaurant. I Love the decor. There are TV's mounted to the walls, playing various sports events. It's hidden away, off Houston Street, down from the Sherman Grayson County Courthouse and government building.. The service was excellent. The server made sure we had what we needed. Cosy smaller location with mostly booths around the walls. The food had large portions and was really good. Street 3 hour parking. There may have been a close by parking lot but we did not utilize it.
