Írjon visszajelzéstMy husband and I come to Smokehouse whenever we visit Tokyo. We have been coming since 2016 and were happy to find it again post pandemic. The restaurant is a good break from the regular Japanese eatery. I know some visitors might think it is sacrilegious to eat any other cuisine in Japan but a proper place to sit and eat without rushing works for us once in a while. The smoked meats are great, depending on our appetite, we normally order the 3 meat platter to share, taking the 4 meat platter if we feel hungrier. It might not be sufficient if you are big eaters so pls adjust accordingly. The coleslaw is the bomb alongside the spicy sausage. I am not a fan of the smoked bacon but the other mains are great. Good service, nice locale, good beers. They take reservations so no need to q! Nothing not to like.
We've been a few times. It's a good place to get some US style barbecue food. It's Japan portions but the 4 meat platter which comes with 2 sides and bread was decent enough for 2 people. We chose corn bread and for our choice of 4 meats : chicken sparerib brisket pulled pork. The meat is quite heavily spiced and flavoured. Good but no real need for the sauces. 2 Sides: Mac and cheese coleslaw (small portions) We sat outside by the high table seats and it was nice overlooking the shopping street which was pretty quiet on a Friday evening.
The menu features a range of barbecue favorites, from tender ribs to smoky pulled pork, catering to meat lovers' cravings. The welcoming ambiance and attentive staff contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere. While not flawless, this restaurant is a definite go-to spot for a delightful American BBQ fix in the heart of Tokyo.
Really enjoyed the dining experience here, reminded me of the time I spent visiting America!!! The brisket is moist and fall off the bone tender, the smoked sausage is flavorful and juicy. Will definitely be back, reasonable price, good service and fantastic food quality!
My son and I stumbled upon this gem while waiting for the girls to finish shopping, and it was a nice reminder of home. Service was great, and so kind. Asking how were were, where we were from, etc. As soon as I told the waitress we were from Texas, she told the Pit Master and he wanted to know where in Texas we were from. Turns out he's been to several of the Texas BBQ mecca shops in Austin (Franklin BBQ, etc. . We had eaten recently, so just had some ribs, and I tried a couple different small beers; all were delicious. Decor was spot-on too. We will return!
