Ashiana Sweets Restaurant Bar - Shimla

Used to be a warmer place to dinate with decent eating ambiente. but the same has drastically declined in the last 2 3 years. the baked sweets are below average. their food quality and service are bad, and they have to improve desperately. we have ordered several paints in bulk for office, still the bakery gives zero discount. the personal is highly experienced and has literally taken their business for self-evident, simply because the restaurant near hp secretariat and has a good daily clientele. Apart from that, the place is very spacious and is located at a preferred location in chotta shimla, with paid parking next to.

A place in existence for over 30 years and offering multiple options when it comes to sweets, confectionery items and North Indian cuisine. Today again I bought sweets from them and noone at home actually liked any of the 3 things that i bought. There quality is pathetically sad and too bad. Sweets are nothing but too much sugar in one or the other shape and size. The staff on the sweet counters are lazy and non-responsive. On my last visit, i specifically asked the lady at the counter if cards are accepted and after she said yes, i asked her to pack a few sweets. Post packing she said that the card machine is not working, wherein i could see another customer paying via card on the next counter. It was irritating to explain such simple fact to them. Arrogance was in the air as if they simply didn't care. Coming from Delhi, outlets not accepting card payments or lying to the client, eventually lose their customer base. For food or drinks, i personally prefer Natraj Bar and Restaurant next door, which is managed by a very humble and customer centric owner. Skip ashiana and check our the place next door, though if you want sweet, there is no other option, but ashiana bar and restaurant in Chotta Shimla.

My sister brought momos from ashiana resturant chotta shimla and the momos are so worse in taste .....i don't accept these kind of service from ashiana....

Ashiana has been one of the top restaurants in Shimla for years. After undergoing renovations, it now looks even more magnificent. The food is excellent, albeit on the pricier side. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the desserts are of great quality. The only downside is the washroom, which may be small due to space constraints. However, this can be overlooked. Overall, a visit to Ashiana promises a dining experience of high quality.

We tried some snacks at this restaurant and highly recommend the veg fried momos - they are a must try! However, we suggest avoiding the golgappe as they were not good.
