Zauo Fishing Shinjuku - Shinjuku-Ku

Food was fine and the atmosphere lively. Service was however dreadful. The only restaurant in Japan where service was without a smile and with plenty of apathetic and even eye-rolling staff. Very unhelpful.

Good adventure. A bit difficult to fish but finally got one. Friendly waitress and able to use English to communicate although some of them cannot. Overall, food is good especially the live fish sashimi which use you caught fish.

The fish part was the best! it was fun to experience, although I wished it had some recommended about the best ways to have fish. it was confusing as I didn't know what the best would be to enjoy the fish

40th birthday celebration.Booked in advance. Informed about special occasion. Staff spoke poor English. They put us on a table at the back that looks like you are in a cheap restaurant . Waiters not very helpful. fishing..kind of ok and original. Cooking normal..nothing extraordinary. Not worth the money at all...sorry! Full dissatisfaction!

Amazing experience. I grew up a Fisher man and this was so fun! I loved the celebration, I loved the different options for fish, and the freshness to each fish served was truly spectacular! Everything from experience to food to laughter left a really good feeling in my heart. Highly recommended! Be careful for the luxury fish though! You might need to pay more than what you expected if you get a really rare high quality fish by accident!
