Hubbard Lodge - Shorewood

Went there for fish fry. Ordered take-out to eat in Beer Garden. We left our phone to call when the order was ready, but never received a call. When I went in to check 40 minutes later, a bag was on the counter. It was our order. When I asked how long it had been there, I was told not that long. Fish was rubbery. Potato pancakes were rubbery. Basically inedible. The operation is desperately in need of adult supervision. Poor service. Inedible food. One star is generous.

Someone told us this place was cute and had great food. It was literally one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. We went for this fish fry. Deafening polka music. Something was seriously wrong in the kitchen. We waited almost an hour for our food. No one in the dining room had food. When we got our meals everything was burnt and terrible. The fish was the worst. Coconut shrimp disgusting. I actually could not believe it. Would never go back.

We were very happily surprised to find this peaceful, shady beer garden right off the Oak Leaf bike path. Really an unexpected pleasure best beer garden in the city! A nice selection of beers to choose from, convenient to stop by on your bike, and really an amazing casual setting on the picnic tables beneath huge trees.

Went for the fish fry last week. It was empty and the music was great entertainment!I was surprised to see the winter drink menu still out; thought they'd have some clever refresher by now.For the food, unfortunately I had a chewy piece of cod which threw the plate, and the slaw is not that great.Parking: The lot is small so if you miss a spot it may be a short walk and street parking

My wife and I had our wedding at Hubbard Park Lodge, it was fantastic! The service and food was great, the staff were incredibly friendly and thorough. We felt the price was very reasonable. The location itself is beautiful, they set up the ceremony right next to the river which was perfect. The actual Lodge itself was very nice, they have a balcony inside that wraps around three quarters of the space which created some great photo opportunities and our guests loved! They also have a nice outdoor deck area with standing tables which was great! The event space coordinator was very friendly and responded quickly to all of our calls and questions. Overall we had a great experience, you should definitely consider Hubbard Park Lodge for your wedding space!
