Matty's Grill Pancake House - Shorewood

Food was okay. My breakfast was good but not enough for the price. My sister got a chopped steak ordered medium and the first time it was rare and then the second time it was well done. The lunch is better than the breakfast. I personally won't bereturning but, if you're thinking about eating here just be weary about the prices of everything first.

Clean, good food, friendly servers, attentive. We'll be back. Our server, Kristin was awesome!! Update, went there today black friday for breakfast. They have a new hostess she was terrific, friendly, sociable, very pleasant. Hope to see her there again,a great addition to an already great staff!

I visited for the first time today, and I have to say, it was the best skillet I've ever had! The pancakes were fantastic as well. Our waitress, Kelly, was incredibly helpful and really attentive to our needs, especially with our little one.

The food was delicious, and I have no complaints about that. However, I did have an issue with the food container. I ordered delivery through GrubHub and encountered two problems: the container leaked, and the plastic looked like it had melted from the heat. While I'm not asking for a change in the containers, I would suggest waiting a few minutes before packing the food in plastic. Even if it’s labeled microwave-safe, I personally feel that plastic and heat shouldn't mix. Thank you.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it certainly did not disappoint. I ended up having three plates of food—talk about a food coma! I was so full that they practically had to roll me out the door. Everything tasted amazing, especially the gravy, which was absolutely delightful!
