The Bog Visitor Centre - Shropshire

This establishment serves as the visitors center for Stiperstones and its history of lead mining. Inside, there is a charming cafe run by local volunteers that offers delicious cakes. They also sell local crafts and tourist information.

We found a lovely stop for coffee a cake at the Bog visitor centre. The staff were very friendly, the food and and drink was very affordable, and fresh. There are a number of craft tables with unique and affordable products. We can not recommend a visit highly enough.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea at the visitor center, where I sampled the delicious "Stiper scones"! I highly recommend visiting this amazing place and taking a leisurely stroll. The walking trails are not too challenging, and now that the bilberries are starting to appear, it's an added bonus. The visitor center has excellent facilities with easy access for those with disabilities. The arts and crafts are also great value, perfect for some early Christmas shopping. And of course, don't forget to indulge in some tea and cakes.

I visited this restaurant last week and was impressed by the selection of local craft beers available. The tea room was charming, with a variety of delicious looking cakes on display. The staff were knowledgeable about the local area and I would highly recommend a visit.

Really enjoyed our first visit to The Bog Centre excellent range of crafts as well as teas coffees and cakes. Ended up being a costly cuppa as bought a 2019 Calendar as well as local James/Jellies.
