Kok Saray Кок Сарай Плов и Шашлык в Шымкенте

This place has a really good shashlik (I usually order lamb and leber,) asking for parmuda, which is a bit of samsa (similar to samosa, but with meat and wobbly) and of course plow is delicious there.

Beautiful plow and prices. kazy and quail eier are for extra price.

Unpleasant service, stale food. Waited waitress almost 20 minutes. Waitress took my personal very expensive thing. Sorted out this issue with manager after all, my item has been returned after deep investigation including watching security cameras. In pros, they have delicious and fresh kuksi (Korean cousins like ramen).

We visited Kok Saray twice during our 3 day stay in Shymkent. The outdoor terrace is very nice on warm evening. The food was excellent on both occasions. We loved the Tashkent Plov and the shashlyk. Friendly staff, good service and very reasonable prices.
