Kathiravan Mess - si li wei li pu tu er

Hotel Kathiravan is located approximately 200m from Srivulliputhur Temple on the main road. It is a busy area with limited parking space. The hotel offers both A/C and non-A/C options, and although I dined in the non-A/C section, I was eager to try the food at the A/C hotel. The meal was priced at INR125 and included pappu with ghee, sesameable, varthakozhambhu, rasam, two curries, appalam, and payasam. This hotel came highly recommended by fellow travelers heading to Srivulliputhur. I suggest trying their lunch, as it was quite good. Additionally, they also sell sambar powder, idli powder, rasam powder, and varthakozhambhu mix.

The taste at this restaurant is very nice for vegetarians. The butter dosa, rava dosa, and idli are all delicious. I especially enjoyed the sambar, which had a beautiful and unique flavor. However, be prepared to wait for a table.

The kathiravan hotel is the most famous restaurant in the town. it's a pure veg restaurant... quality of foods is tasty and good.

Location - Walk'able from temple and right on the main road.Food and service - We went as a group of 7 for breakfast. We were seated in a room towards the end of the restaurant. An elderly person was serving us. We all like the hospitality and the way he offered to serve food to us. Food we ordered were served quite fast and was tasty too. Food is served on banana leaf. We had pongal, vada, idly, poori and dosa. Barring Poori, we liked all other items which were quite tasty including Sambar and chutneys served.Price - Very pocket friendly. Heard from one in my group of 7 that he had tasted meal during lunch here and it is very good. Would want to visit for lunch some day.

It was a divining experience after having a darshan in temple we were looking for a restaurant to gave breakfast, driver told about this hotel, fantastic experience, njoyed both breakfast & lunch... Kudo to team kathiravan ....
