El Queretano Mexican - Sibley

Phenomenal food joint. Excellent service and a very fun atmosphere. The food was outstanding, and a great value for the price. Salsa and chips were next level. Definitely would recommend! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Well this turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was actually some of the best Mexican food I've had in years. The service was decent. We were making plans for this to be a regular stop whenever we passed by Sibley. Then it came time to pay. We had ordered two items totaling $22.50, plus some tax. The total I was told was right at $34. Hmm, seems a bit high. They overcharged me by at least $10, and when I questioned it, I was first told that the prices had gone up and the new menus hadn't been printed. I said, I ordered off the menu I was provided, with prices printed. So I asked to see the itemized check, but there wasn't one. They were just keying numbers into a calculator. I asked what the prices were on the items we ordered, and got the same numbers as was on the menu. Where's the extra charge? Then I was told that spoonful of green sauce I asked for on my burrito cost an extra $3, then it was $4, then it was $4.50. $10 for the burrito and $4.50 for the spoonful of sauce on top? Still not adding up. Then I was told that they charge $3 for the chips and salsa which I didn't order. They bring chips and salsa to the table upon seating, just like every Mexican restaurant in the country does gratis! Apparently this restaurant charges you $3 for the chips and salsa they bring which you didn't order. The owners apparently don't speak English, and the two kids running the register and serving the food just kept making up things but could never actually produce an itemized check showing what they were actually charging for. In the end, I just paid the bill and left. I did cut the tip in half from what I would normally leave. She did actually get the order and serve the food, but the final bill was just a fabrication. We certainly won't be going back to this place. It's too bad. We were actually looking forward to enjoying more of the food, but not after the experience of that bill.

The food that I order was good.the restaurant it self looks cool but the seats them self isn't very comfortable and wasn't to happy to have kids take my drink order as I am pretty sure that not legal under 14 plus I order one drink but ended up with two and the price isn't the best for two people it costed 27.82 and I am pretty sure they charged us for both drinks and it was just tap water overall if you want good food it not Abad place to eat the atmosphere with kids running around and playing while you're trying to eat you're meal seems Abit odd in a business and a child taking you're drink order that can't be more then 12 probably younger isn't a good look overall one of the most weirdest exprice that I have had eating out anywhere I don't strongly recommend it Kid-friendliness: It definitely kid friendly If you're wanting a place not to eat but aplace for you're kids to go play as their kids are always running around and if you want a under age child to take you're drink orders Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp it wouldn't be very fun for the person pushing it tho as it gose up pretty high but it there
