Athos - Siegen

On a Saturday evening without reservation, the chef made everything possible that we had a delicious meal at short notice. the missing bratkartoffels were delivered within two to three minutes. tasty homemade pizza rolls for salad and for starters. we are happy to come back!

We pulled off the highway looking for a place to eat and the first two we tried looked uninviting. We found Athos on TripAdvisor and headed to it. The restaurant is close to the exit and easy to park. Inside the restaurant was nicely decorated. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke English fairly well. His service was outstanding and the food was very good. He went out of his way to figure out how to describe a substitution in one of their desserts which we appreciated. The food was very good and I would definitely stop here again if I drive that way again.

Athos has its own wood charcoal oven, so here there are delicious pizza, but on preorder for example also a whole lamb from the wood charcoal oven at a super favorable price. everything is freshly prepared, I recommend the freshly prepared appetizers! the gastronomy is very friendly, you feel right at home and like to come back. so you can imagine Greek hospitality.

In Siegen it is not so easy to find a good restaurant. now we are finally satisfied! beautiful ambiente, lovingly designed outdoor area, attentive service,very clean and best Greek food.The chef georgios is very warm and enchants especially for us delicious Greek cuisine. my tipp: lammkeule from the wood stove for about 4 people (must be preordered).Gruss from hürth

Today we had super tasty food to take away for several people. the food was warm, fresh and very tasty. large portioning and very nice staff on the phone and in the last. highly recommended!
