El Metate - Signal Mountain

My favorite Mexican restaurant. I have eaten as much as every day for a month. Great baptism very friendly people. I recommend these young.

I have never written a bad review. that will change now. we tried el metate several times. the inhabitants of the signal mountain are always happy to open a new restaurant. good restaurants on signal are few and far between and too often do not keep. with el metate we never had a good experience and for the greatest part it is not about eating. eating is mediocre. it's about hiring and service. we still have to be greeted with a smile. it always seems that who is at the front is best, hardly tolerant. each time after sitting we waited at least 10 minutes before a server has come to our table. Best chicken tortilla suppe. if they like me and love Mexican food, but not what it does to her nutrition, then they try the chicken tortillae this restaurant. I take my 80-year-old mother for lunch at least once a week because it is our neighboring restaurant, and we get that always. fresh avocado and limette on the side with a clear brew and what seems like half a chicken breast in the suppe. we get the taste of the south without all calorie. and of course a bowl chips. we love it.

Uninterested staff. mediocre best eat. they obviously don't appreciate their clientele.

I used to love this restaurant, but my recent experience was disappointing. For example, I ordered a kids' quesadilla with rice and beans, along with 5 fajitas. However, when my order arrived, I only received the rice and beans. I explained the mistake to the staff and showed them my order, but they refused to provide the missing items. I won't be returning until the service improves.
