Mia Mia Hostel - Sihanoukville

Only went for drinks. The construction of wood/bamboo is cool. The bar was pretty dead though and the few people that were there were completely out of their face on drugs. Not just weed either. I'm pretty sure the bar staff were selling stuff too. They were however friendly to talk to. The bar has a large pool table in good condition.

Great hostel, amazing staff that really made me feel at home! I was only planning on staying a couple of days but ended up staying almost 2 weeks. Would have stayed longer but I had to meet up with some friends in Thailand. I will definitely be returning on my travels. The village is small and quaint, outside of Sihanoukville. A great place if you want to party and only a five-ten or so minute walk to the beach. Lots of great locals both Cambodians and Westerners. Excited to go back! :

We only stayed in the bar/restaurant for dinner, but felt the friendly atmosphere as we'd belonged there already. They have happy hour when you can win Rock-Paper-Scissors and get a beer. Delicious and cheep food, worth trying!

Walking into this narrow, yet extra vertically palatial place is like stepping into the church of holy herbs. Hallelujah amen. The dramatically high arched ceiling of this shanty bar and restaurant, with its lofty crisscross wooden pole beams, makes this one of the most uniquely designed establishments in otres village. This is one helluva fun place to swill alcoholic libations and shoot some pool. They play good music with a trancy, euro techno, deep house, eclectic style. They offer dorms at very reasonable rates. The environmentally conscious female chef from Russia whips up some mean and juicy 5-napkins style burgers. Sigh. My heart is fluttering as I silently reminisce over her home style cooking. Go hang out during a busy high season night.

A beautiful place, nice ambiance and very good dorm! Provides mosquito nets, a reading light and outlet at every bed. Very good cocktails as well!
