Anita's - Simpsonville

Not bad Mexican food but nothing special. I ordered the Mexican chicken soup and which was unfortunately thickly covered with cilantro. The soup was tasty but not memorable. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas which came with rice, beans, and flour tortillas. It was served on a dinner plate, not on a sizzling platter, and came with fresh guacamole. The chips and salsa were fresh and service was excellent.

Everything was great. Drive up and curbside were easy to do and everyone was very helpful. The tacos were just amazing and authentic.

Food was fair at best. The three of us ordered three different things and none of us liked it. Chips were a bit hard. Waitresses were very nice but weren't around very much. There were only 4 families in there but they seemed to struggle with service. We have been here before and enjoyed it but not this time. Food has definitely gone down hill.

A long tradition for the area. My family's been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. My mother first introduced it to me and ever since the owner Anita has been like a second mother. The quality of the restaurant is just like the lady herself and her husband who found it. Class act. Off to the chips!!

It 's been two long years searching for the perfect blend of Southern Mexican food with a So Cal twist here in the deep South. We had our first meal of many more to come today at this location. This place first off serves comfort food, secondly they have personality and lastly THEY CARE! When you find a place that understands food first, service second and family..... well it 's a place worth haunting! As soon a they delivered the chips and salsa I looked at my wife and said We 're Riding the Bus to Flavortown here! The food was served fast and with a smile. The chips and homemade salsa were on point and pop 'n! Our meals where just more than we expected. What had me, was when the owners son came out and said whatever you want I will make it. He had me at I will Make it . So to the founder of this cool Eatery, Well done!! I 'll be back..
