Joe Pizza - SIMSBURY

As usual, we opted for the pepperoni pizza. It arrived quickly, and we were immediately impressed by the airy crust. Joe Pizza uses smaller pepperonis, which is a nice change from the norm. My only complaint about the pizza was that there might have been a bit too much pepperoni; some sections had three or four overlapping slices. That might just be a matter of personal taste, though—I’m sure many people would appreciate the generous amount of pepperoni on their pizza. The server was also very polite and attentive, skillfully managing a couple of tables while ensuring everyone received proper service.

We placed a to-go order and found that the pickup area is located around the side of the building. Our order was ready and on time. We got a large chicken and pineapple pizza, but since they only offer small or large sizes, the large was way too much food for just the two of us. However, the garlic bread and dipping sauce were both delicious!

I ordered Joe's Pizza tonight and was extremely disappointed. They forgot our eggplant fries, and we only ordered three items. My chicken piccata was unbreaded, soaked in oil, and completely devoid of lemon. For $20, I expected the chicken to be at least decent. Additionally, there was no customer service when we arrived to pick up our order; everyone just walked by without acknowledging us. I would give this place zero stars if I could, and I definitely won’t be returning.

New to the area. Did an online search for local pizza and stumbled across this establishment. Proceeded to read some of the reviews and was automatically turned off by the ?owners? responses to some of the negative reviews. I won?t be going here and supporting this business just based on that. I believe good customer service and the actions of employees for said business are important to the consumer.

Showed up at 5:30pm on a Friday and were seated. When I asked what the waiter recommended he said they didn?t have pizza or wings tonight because the pizza chef was out. Would be nice to put up a sign next time but the waiter was very nice. Disappointed
