Bun Hue Cafe - Singapore

I ordered BBQ noodles, spicy vermicelli soup, stir-fried pho, and rice rolls. The portions were generous and each dish had plenty of vegetables. The fried spring rolls included with the BBQ noodles were unique and different from the usual spring rolls found at other places.

Despite the fact that Suntory All-Free tastes like soda but is alcohol-free, all of the other dishes at this restaurant are delicious. Our favorites were the housemade fried Vietnamese spring roll, signature mushroom soup noodle, truffle king mushroom cream pasta (vegetarian), and Pomodoro wild mushroom tomato pasta because they all had plenty of mushrooms. We also enjoyed the takeaway options of king mushroom cream pasta, truffle pasta, stir-fried noodles, Bun Hue Chay, and fried Vietnamese spring roll. The spring roll was a bit too salty for our liking. This review was updated on October 24th, 2022.

This restaurant serves authentic and flavorful dishes from Hue, Vietnam. The menu is completely vegetarian and free of allium and eggs, with the exception of drinks that contain cow's milk (although oat milk is sometimes available). I hope that they will eventually switch to only offering vegan milk, or at least consistently offer vegan alternatives. It's important to note that there are limited seating options available.

Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes made with quality ingredients at a reasonable cost. The owner is very personable and welcoming.
