Írjon visszajelzéstI simply love North Indian cuisine my friend brought me to here which is located just on the outskirts of the busy Little India district near Farrer Park MRT for the most authentic North Indian food experience, with an extensive menu of classic North Indian dishes at affordable prices. Stepping in, I am literally transported to the streets of India with their interior decked with Punjab-related murals furniture, including a manja. What I tried, Sarson Ka Saag Set Meal. A bowl of blended mustard greens with spices that is so rich creamy simply addictive, paired with corn-flour flatbread. This flatbread has a uniquely sturdy texture as I tear out a piece of the flatbread dip it unto the blended mustard greens, the flavour just grows on me with each every bite. So comforting warms up my palate body. Chicken Tikka (6pcs) One bite into this beauty my palate is hit with a smoky char flavour next I'm greet with an explosion juiciness of lusciously tender chicken breast that's heavily spiced expertly cook to perfection moist. Butter Chicken. Generous chunks of boneless chicken sautéed in a tantalising heavenly aroma butter cream sauce. The creamy sauce has a delightful blend of tang butteriness that pair flawlessly. Best pair with garlic naan. As I scoop up this creamy sauce boneless chicken, in no time, I literally mop out the entire bowl leaving nothing behind. Garlic Naan. Impressive as is not greasy with crisp outer texture fluffy soft doughy inside. The flavour of the garlic also settle nicely on the taste buds while it is almost unnecessary to pair this naan with a gravy, I love to give it an extra kick by pair it with butter chicken as it soak up the gravy very nicely. Gulab Jamun Indian milk balls deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup and it absorb the syrup nicely. Mango Lassi Very refreshing rich and luxurious drink made from yogurt and mangoes for that sweet and milky finish. One sip on it I'm in love. the good ambiance services uplifts the experience. I highly recommend this authentically brilliant North Indian restaurant.
1. **Chicken Makhni Set**: This includes Butter Chicken served with Garlic Naan and Papadam on the side. The Butter Chicken features tender tandoori boneless meat in a rich, creamy sauce—definitely one of the best I've had in Singapore. 2. **Sarson Ka Saag Set**: This dish consists of Mustard Greens (Sarson refers to mustard in Hindi/Punjabi, and Saag means greens) served with Makki Ki Roti. The flavorful curry gravy was packed with spices, perfectly balanced and complemented by the unleavened corn-based flatbread. 3. **Chole Bhatura**: Also known as Chana Bhatura, this is a beloved Punjabi dish in India. The Chole is a spiced, tangy chickpea curry, while the Bhatura is a soft and fluffy fried leavened bread. The combination of flavors and textures was incredibly addictive. 4. **Gulab Jamun**: We ended our meal on a sweet note with these delightful deep-fried milk balls soaked in sugar syrup. I couldn't get enough of this irresistible dessert. 5. **Mango Lassi and Masala Tea**: The Lassi was refreshing, with a natural sweetness from the mango, while the Masala Tea had a harmonious blend of spices. The aromas of the dishes were heavenly and delightful; my partner and I absolutely loved everything we tried! If you're looking for authentic and affordable North Indian cuisine in a spacious and central location, I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed!
This place is quite affordable and the food is pretty good. While the menu doesn’t offer an extensive selection, it satisfies your cravings. The bread served with the creamy sauce was definitely the highlight!
Outstanding North Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. It's certainly a great value for your money. A special shoutout to Mrs. Dilljeet Kaur for being such a welcoming host!
