Unfortunately, the menu is a great farewell, we spend six months here in siolim for the last 6 years and eat every other night out, we have a take in the other nights. there was much too much... on the menu was eating average and nothing special, I had rogan josh, but it tasted nothing like the one I had in goa and some excellent Indians in Great Britain. to discuss with friends, they bought a package of their head and when they had them the next night, although the sauce in both completely different dresses was the same. the decoration at this place is to die and would have a nice place to beat or have a special event. unfortunately, it leaves the food to fall. the drinker were a ridiculous price. what is really insulting is because we are visitors in their view that they do not think we know our food.
We had a delicious meal at this restaurant, including soup, dal makhani, and chura paratha. The food was very tasty. Deepak, our waiter, was friendly and always had a smile on his face. We will definitely be dining here again in the future.
This restaurant is not to miss when they are in goa. the ambiente is simply amazing with the green all around. the all surrounding Banyan tree is the best property of teh restaurant we went for the pan asian menu. the lotus stammstarter... and the Papaya salad were really excellent. the pad thai noodles were also good. would like to try the punjabi eating a few days
Came across this restaurant while surfing for a good Thai Restaurant on Trip Advisor. It turned out to be only 2 Kms away. Sure enough we were soon having lunch at the place. And it was truly a great experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was chic. The music played added greatly to it. The service was top notch with Milan (our server) doing an outstanding job. The food was excellent. We were there for the Thai stuff. The Gelato at the end of it was the best I have ever had. And before I complete the 300 years old tree under which this restaurant is HAS TO BE SEEN. Simply Wow try it you will not regret it.
The delicious food wins hands down! This restaurant is located in the shad of a 300 year old banyan tree which is truly majestic and awe inspiring. Since it is the rainy season, the outdoor seating is closed but the indoor seating is very comfortable and still affords a view of the massive banyan tree. The team at The Banyan know their job well and are well trained. They made some good recommendations and suggestions. For starters, we sampled the stir fried lotus stem in black bean sauce. This was excellent and had just the right amount of crunch. We also tried the Vietnamese garlic beef which were tender strips off beef cooked to perfection. We opted to steer clear of the regular noodles and rice options and instead continued our culinary journey with the Adobo bao which was succulent and juicy and went very well with the grilled pork belly. The accompanying sauces placed on the table are all superb and are a must try, especially the mint sauce. We ended our meal with the Belgian Chocolate Gelato which was also superb !
