Sugar Daddy's Casino - Sioux City

I visited the restaurant during a quiet time when it was nearly empty. I overheard the server telling another table that the chef had been upset and "threw" their food at him. After that, the server was sent home, and we hardly saw anyone after that. Our mozzarella sticks arrived after our main courses, followed by a long wait of about 20 minutes for marinara sauce. Additionally, the food was quite heavily salted. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Fantastic! The food is great, and it's a fun place to hang out. I wish I could win, but it's alright—my boyfriend plays and often wins!

On the night of August 9, 2022, around 8:30 PM, we arrived at the restaurant and were met with the best service we've ever experienced there. Unfortunately, I can't recall our server's name, but she was outstanding. She kept our drinks filled, the food came out quickly and accurately, and she checked on us several times. After the last two or three visits, we were hesitant about returning, but tonight more than made up for it.

We had a wonderful dinner on Tuesday night, served by Pumpkin. We ordered the shrimp dinner, and she recommended the beer-battered fries, which were absolutely delicious! The food was hot and well-prepared. I highly recommend dining at this place if you're traveling along I-29. While it is on the pricier side, the excellent service and quality of the food make it worth it. We'll definitely be back!
