Papa Woody's - Sioux Falls

First time here and it is located in a nice area, near the Falls Park. Easy to walk to...good date night spot. Nice kids menu. My daughter ordered a hotdog. Definitely plenty of food and yummy steak fries, but fries were overly salted.My spouse and I ordered 2 specialty pizzas-the Mediterranean and the Buffapeno. Pizza was $12 for 4 pieces and $18 for 8. We had Flatbread with the Mediterranean and thick with the Buffapeno. The flavors were excellent! Yum! But the thick was a bit undercooked. Nice service. Friendly. Plenty of seating and patio to sit outside. Bar area for drinks.

Ate here with family visiting and had a great time. Food was great and felt worth the prices. Plenty of unique and interesting pizzas too. They also have the good quality root beer.

Mom and I both had food poisioning after eating their mozzarella cheese sticks and margherita pizza. The pizza was bland. Nothing too special about this place. I wanted to like this place but were disappointed.

Very disappointed. My wife and I went there for lunch yesterday and sat at the high table closest to the food window and the entire time we were waiting for our food the lady with long blond hair who HANDLES the food was messing with her hair the entire time. Her hair was down not put up and she was twirling it around. We saw her touch her hair and then grab our food and bring it out without washing her hands which made it very unappetizing for us to eat the food they brought us. There then was a hair in the pizza. I have never gone to a restaurant where the staff didn’t have to have their hair up and there is a reason for that. The server was very nice though and the food we could actually eat was decent. I got the buffapeno and my wife got the Margarita pizza that she could only eat half of.

The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the place gets busy right at opening time (11am). The staff are incredibly friendly and engaging. I tried the Buffapeno pizza on a thin, crispy crust, and it was fantastic. I chose it because of the unique combination of ingredients, which might sound unusual, but they come together beautifully in terms of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!
