Írjon visszajelzéstThe setting here is hard to demerit. Its a fabulous place to relax and enjoy the lake. The rooms in the lodge are adequately clean and comfortable? but, maybe lacking in basic amenities. Breakfast can only be purchased from the boathouse which opens at 8am. And your room doesn?t have a fridge. So? if you wake up early, you wait. Private wine tastings had the kitchen closed one night, so that was a bummer too. Boathouse dinner a couple nights in a row leaves room for improvement. You can tell they are trying hard. A bit hipster in the vibe, but I guess that comes with the area code. I would say if they threw a fridge and a table in each room the rating would jump up to 4.5. Also, the septic tank alarm went off a bunch of times during the night which was quite loud and annoying
We have come here every year for the past 3-4 years!!! we love it. whether it?s taking the morning slow and coming to town or having a fun day at the lake it never gets old! the food at the boathouse is AMAZING, there?s just not a whole lot of options. the lodge rooms are so clean and fun, the cabins are fun and give you a camping vibe: the staff are so kind and always willing to help with anything you need! try and get a room if your staying in the area or at least just visit.
Gorgeous location! we loved sitting on the deck of the lodge, enjoying a beverage. And the Boathouse was fun to get food and drink while playing in the water at the dock. We rented a double kayak and SUP. So much fun!
This place is amazing. It?s got old skool summer camp vibes with a refreshed modern face. I wanted to spend a whole day here but had to head back to Bend. Their cocktails are stupidly good as well, and there are activities almost every evening in the summer. Also, staff was super friendly! Part of me didn?t want to write this review because I don?t want it to become totally inundated it feels like a hidden gem but it needs to be known ?
We stayed in a rustic cabin for one night. I had stayed one night in a room at the lodge itself several years back. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the lodging itself was overpriced for what was provided; I wanted to write a review purely for suggestions of what might be made useful (and inexpensive upgrades in the future given the high cost. 1. The extra charge for linens felt unnecessary with the high price point to start. I understand that some people might bring their own linens, but that seems like if people don't, that it should be complimentary. 2. The other cabins/rooms have coffee service in them, and the rustic cabins do have power, but there were no coffee options besides paying for coffee down at the Boathouse. It would go a very long way to provide a coffee maker with some coffees in the cabin itself especially for early risers : 3. There are hooks on either side of the bed in the rustic cabins and again, power, but it would have been nice to have hanging lanterns or other forms of lower light available there. For those of us who like to read to fall asleep, it would be nice to be able to flick off the light rather than to have to get up and go to the next room to turn off the light. Ultimately, we did have a really wonderful stay, but like I said, it definitely felt as though we were overpaying by a pretty significant margin. I think in the future, if updates aren't made for things like this, that we would opt to either rent one of the larger cabins with another family, or camp nearby in a yurt and visit in person. The grounds were, however, BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is always super helpful and kind.
