Best galaktoboureko we have tasted in all of Crete. The custard was soft and fell apart as we stick our fork into it and it tasted delicious. The pastry was flakey but also with layers of softened pastry from the syrup, yum. The coffee was also great. Great location on the marina. Highly recommend.

Mitsakakis is one of the places everyone should visit when in Sitia! I've been visiting this place since I was little every summer. They haven't changed their galaktoboureko recipe all these years. Their deserts are all fresh, homemade with local ingredients. I have to point out that their stuff is amazing, all of them very polite and cheerful! Just today I was buying take away coffee and a little pizza to go and I accidentally dropped the pizza on the floor, and next thing you know a member of stuff brought me a new one!
