Bengal Spice - Sittingbourne

Order a delivery for delivery, was said to be delivery between 7-720pm. When the order had not arrived at 7:30 a.m., I called to say 5-10 minutes. I called again at 7:50 and was told to wait another 15-20 minutes. I was told I would. 2 poppadome as compensation, not good enough in my opinion, and I asked to speak with a manager, he told me he wouldn't compensate me because my order was not "big enough." it shouldn't be important if the order was £13 or £30. I was then told that as my order was under £15, they shouldn't even deliver it, although I had also paid a £ 1.50 shipping cost. the manager told me they had only one driver and I should just cancel my order. When the order finally arrived, the driver advised that there were 2 drivers. immediately after eating I felt bad.

For the first time in sittingbourne. I was wondering if I was going to be the TripAdvisor reviews while Google cards had good reviews. it happened the bankquet night offer (every starter, porn, tear or naan for £13,95) so decided to try the restaurant. the menu had many options. eating was so good, far better than many other Indian restaurants and I tried many Indian/Bangladesh restaurants. every court was up and down on my lust. the dishes were full of taste. they were also not oily also the regular menu prices were good. We also tried chaat puri, chicken chaat puri, tarka daal, saag straps, sweet bombay flame (naga), huhn tikka blue elephant on parade, garlic nan, cocois rice and a side of the phal sauce. my favorite was the Phaal sauce, it was just right to be very spicy and tasteful. there was so much to eat that we have withdrawn rest. I wish this restaurant was a local restaurant for me as I would be a normal one! service was very good and the staff really friendly. I can't recommend enough!

Have often refined here and used the take away. can be a bit hit or miss, but all the way be kind and portion sizes good, always be worth eating. the venue is a little down, but clean. was good if. with a group. as long as it is not expected that the raised environment or special kitchen is worth going on a banquet night

The main problem is that the restaurant focused on its take away service at the expense of the seated customers. We waited two hours for our mains and twice we reminded the waiter that the customers in the restaurant needed feeding as well as those...needing take aways or deliveries. The restaurant needs to define whether it is a restaurant or a take away as it is failing at both according to other reviews on their take away service. The service was absolutely disgraceful. Whist taking our order the waiter did not heed our concerns about dairy products in the food due to our daughters food allergies. His focus on taking our order was the take away order being taken over the phone! We will never visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to anyone
