Tiger's Tale - Skillman

This restaurant offers an excellent price-to-value ratio! It sets the right expectations for what it is; it's not "fine dining," but rather an old-school American eatery filled with delicious and indulgent options. This time, I chose the BBQ ribs (which were exceptional). For just $25, I got a generous portion that practically fell off the bone. There's also a classic wraparound bar with regular seating. The photo only captures about 60% of the rib rack that was included in my meal.

The service was outstanding, and both the restaurant and bar were spotless. We began our meal with the hot crumb melting away appetizer, which was fantastic! My wife ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, and she really enjoyed it. However, I found the burger to be a disappointment; it was simply underseasoned. While it was juicy and cooked to my preference, it lacked any real flavor. The presentation was beautiful, though. I'm willing to give it another try, as everything else was excellent!

The food is amazing here, quite fast service and accommodation for groups. A decent atmosphere. However, the space must control the bugs in the outside seat area. I love eating outside, but it is not ideal on gravel next to a tree full of insects. They used to have it in front of the building in a tent that was great, but they got rid of it.

We visited the restaurant on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and it was extremely crowded and noisy. Although we were told there would be a 20-minute wait, we were seated within 5 minutes. The food was quite average. I had a burger that was cooked well, but it lacked flavor. The fries were nice and tender. My friend ordered the Nachos Supreme, but the chips were completely buried under toppings, making them soggy by the time they reached us. I tried an apple cider cocktail, but it tasted artificial, more like cough syrup than actual juice. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and our server was attentive, with our food arriving promptly. Overall, I don’t think I’d return for a second visit, but it seems like a decent spot for those looking for a quick drink at the bar.

A Princeton Institute, and in vain! The food here is shockingly delicious, super freshly cheap. I love their oysters, fresh fish and if it's the season STEAMERS! The staff is attentive, friendly and funny. It feels like at home, and I still have to be disappointed by a single thing I ordered in the six years I visited here. Give him an attempt you won?
