Found this place on yelp and was not disappointed! The owner was so kind, and fed us like one of her children. You can’t finish everything she brings you! Great southern food like grandma always had on the table.

Slidell needs to know more about this hidden treasure. Every single bite that I tried was even more amazing than the last. The flavors were delectable! My VERY picky daughter demolished the macaroni and cheese. The taste of the fried fish brought back childhood memories of cooking with my great grandmother. I didn’t think anyone could ever mimic those explosive flavors. Minnie’s Daughter does just that. Mrs. Shirley and Mr. Gerald were just as friendly as can be! Amazing customers service! I can’t wait to explore more of the menu.

Just had lunch with the stuffed bell pepper and baked chicken—every single thing was unbelievably delicious! Haven’t had such good soul food in a long time. Prices are great! Shirley was extremely nice, we can’t wait to go back and try her Sunday buffet. Our new favorite lunch spot!

Loved the hospitality and the great food! This is an awesome place to enjoy a great home cooked meal and good company. Next time I'm in NOLA/Slidell area, this jewel will definitely be a stop! Try the chicken, meat loaf, smothered pork chops you won't be disappointed.

Where do I start?! Delicious! The blackened catfish melted in my mouth, the potato salad was creamy, I tasted my daughter's fried chicken- it was so flavorful. The hospitality was the best- like I was at home talking with friends and family. We'll definitely be back!
