Southern Delights Llc - Slidell

I love this place!! The snoballs are amazing so is the ice cream! You can get a little sample each time you go so you can try all the many flavors. They employ high school students who are always nice and professional. I know a trip to Southern Delights will put smiles on my families faces. Highly recommended!

The prices are fair. And while the service may be at times be slow, the snowballs are worth the wait. Also, there is an open sewage ditch nearby. The subtle mix of cool, refreshing, sweet snowballs combined with the smell of fresh, raw, summer-heated human waste is, in my experience, a unique sensation that cannot be experienced anywhere else.

I love your snowballs, I normally go to the one on Military because I live one street over, been going there since they open. I just wish they were more consistent in making a snowball you never know what your going to get. One day you might get charged a different price when adding ice cream, and one day you might get a snow cone that actually looks like a snow cone and not flat next day totally different. Overall the taste is good, people are friendly, price is ok....ifI'm spending $5.00 almost everyday on a snowball I want consistency!!! Suggestion? Training!!

I gave 5 stars because it was worth the wait. I was not in a rush. My husband and I are in a hotel outta town. So, I wasn't in a hurry and I wanted a snowball. But the wait was VERY long. I saw while waiting possibly 30 45 min at least 3 4 cars leave from waiting. Maybe they were short handed. This was my first time. I hated it for them to lose the business! Im all for small businesses. I would hope they would also figure a way for better parking/drive thru. Because theirbusiness could double or even triple! If they had someone taking orders outside and getting it to the workers inside could make it faster. They were very friendly and seemed to be working as fast as they could. Also when I got my snowball,medium size, they gave a regular short spoon. A long one was really need for this size. But it was my first time, maybe they were out? Would I go back? YES! Would I recommend the wait? YES!! Very delicious and not bad prices! May God blessyour business more!

Why would an ice cream place sell a sundae and not have nuts cause of allergies, get the packets of nuts and hand them out.
