Mooney's - Sligo

The pub has a lovely traditional exterior, and the interior is quite charming as well. It offers a great atmosphere, efficient service, and it's usually easy to find a seat. You're almost guaranteed to strike up a conversation, predominantly about Sligo Rovers, which is perfectly fine with me. I enjoyed a pint of Smithwick’s that hit the spot, and I might have indulged in a second. I just wish I had arrived a bit earlier because I was really enjoying my time there, but eventually, I had to head off to the match! I truly love this bar. I highly recommend it, and it's definitely a must-visit if you're attending a game nearby.

I visited this restaurant with my family on a Saturday night in August. The staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating. Our food arrived promptly, and we all loved the fantastic fish and chips.

This is a fantastic spot to visit before watching the impressive Sligo Rovers in action. They offer reasonably priced Guinness as well.
