Írjon visszajelzéstThis used to be my favorite burger place, but during my last visit, my meal cost nearly $30 just for myself. I hope they reconsider their pricing and bring it back to what it used to be, around $18–$20.
The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. I ordered extra fries, but the owner suggested that the meals already come with plenty of fries, so I didn't need to order more. She could have easily taken my extra order, but she chose not to, which I appreciated. I ended up giving her a tip equal to that extra order, making it a win-win situation.
The katsu burgers are quite substantial and come with a generous side of fries. I upgraded a couple of sides to onion rings and one to sweet potato fries, which were excellent. The cod katsu burger was particularly impressive in size—definitely not a mini version like the McDonald's filet-o-fish. The rectangular cod fillet was larger than the round potato bun, and I think a hoagie bun would have been a better fit. While it was delicious, the BBQ sauce didn’t quite complement the fish. On the other hand, the pork, beef, and chicken cutlets were thinner, which explained the double stack. The salmon cutlet was substantial and tender without being dry, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The flaky Panko breadcrumb coating was deep-fried to perfection, delivering a crunchiness that deserves an A+. So why the four-star rating? While the flavor was enjoyable, the deep-fried breading masked the taste of the meat. The sauce leaned toward the sweet side, and a bit more cabbage or lettuce would have helped balance the greasiness. There are additional fresh condiments available as add-ons, though. Next time, I plan to explore the hamburger varieties. Delivery is available through Google and Grubhub, but I didn’t notice their own website. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, following COVID protocols even with the confusing CDC guidelines. Let's support our local neighborhood restaurants!
Burger King quality at boutique prices. A Whopper has at least as much beef, the same paper-thin bacon, and the same fake cheese, but costs a good deal less than the $14.80 I just paid for a bacon cheeseburger here. Soliciting a 10+ percent tip when someone walks up to a register and places an order to go is cheeky at best. Ill-fitting, cheap, hard surfaces top of a half-finished feel to an interior devoid of ambiance. I feel a little sorry for folks who think this place offers a five star experience.
The Fish Chips rocked, and my Son's Bacon Cheeseburger was delish, and the prices are more than fair. The Cashier/Server was also very attentive to all of the diners.
