I attempted to call the restaurant, but there was no answer, so I decided to drive there to pick up the rest of my order. I also requested a replacement for the missing item since it would have been nearly two hours from when it was prepared to when I got home. Unfortunately, the manager's response was quite unhelpful. She told me to take it up with the person who took my order and then handed me a cup, instructing me to fill it up myself at the station. My main issue with the entire experience was the poor customer service and the manager’s unwelcoming attitude. I was very disappointed.
I rarely get takeout or even go out to dinner since my husband and I enjoying cooking at home. However, we bought a bucket of chicken last Friday night to go with sides that we prepared at home. I was so impressed with the customer service that I feel obligated to do this review. Super nice older gentleman was our cashier and a sweet young gal delivered the bucket to my car. The young gal ran out twice to my car since she wanted to clarify my order. They still had 4 minutes left on the crispy chicken when I went through the drive-thru. Fantastic customer service! I can't wait to return someday to try the potpie as I heard these potpies are amazing!
The manager even helped us due to such a large order and all the food was hot fresh and she even had the condiments and napkins ready like we asked. Everyone was kind and it was a very clean restaurant.
I should know better than to keep giving this location another chance. The owner really needs to pay more attention to the restaurant. Time and again, I’ve been disappointed. My order for tenders and wedges for two came with a mix of scrawny, tough chicken pieces, alongside a few decent ones. The wedges were no better—mostly dry, leathery bits with just a couple of good pieces. I also ordered two apple pies. I was told to pull over and wait about four minutes, but after twelve minutes of waiting, I had to get out of my car and go inside to find out what was going on. There always seems to be an issue at this KFC. Having to take the time to write this review is frustrating, but I’ve now decided to take my business elsewhere. I dislike having to write negative reviews like this, especially since I own a small business and understand the challenges. However, it’s clear that the owner isn’t really supervising the store—just counting the money, it seems.
I had a wonderful experience with Morgan. She was cheerful and attentive, even going above and beyond to make our KFC dinner night easier! Efforts like hers are rare in the industry, and I truly appreciate it. However, I am giving four stars instead of five due to the need to contact her by phone in the first place. The KFC app is decent but still requires improvements. For instance, when ordering the Football Pack, if one of your family members is allergic to or dislikes pickles or mayo, there's no option to remove those condiments from an individual sandwich. Overall, it was a positive experience.
