The Island Hideaway - Solomons

LOVE LOVE LOVE finding places like this! The service was great, the food was even better and I particularly enjoyed that they were also softly playing satellite radio EDM and just the vibes were so chill. The view is fantastic. Ordered the Crab Dip and the French Toast that was stuffed with fresh strawberries and a sweet cream cheese, so good! The Lavender Martini was just icing on the cake! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Will def be back for more!

The food is always perfect. Service is off the charts. Burger and seafood canneolinni so far and crab soup tooo good. The house made balsamic is great on everything esp the pork chop. Love this place.

Nice spot on the water to eat some yummy food!! Pricey but worth it for the quality.

I called to make reservations, was instructed to fill out form on website. Got outdoor seating which I asked for in the comment portion of the reservation app. Very busy at on a Fri. Great water view...most of the area outside was shady by as the sun was going down behind the front. Cream of crab tasted great, comparable to most other restaurants with really good CoC. Shrimp in my scampi was overcooked and the sauce was too acidic, but the toast was really good. Fish tacos were cooked well and yummy with a very light wasabi sauce drizzled on. Fish bites were Mahi that night, with a nice lighter breading vs the old thick beer battered stuff. Seafood Cannoli had a good taste and yes, there is a difference in homemade pasta vs. readymade. It was almost fluffy and soft in comparison so that was a nice change. Our server was very new but she did a great job and other staff were on hand to help out as well, so service was really good despite it being busy. The dessert selection sounded really good and it is said they are also homemade. Tried the almond butter cake, also has strawberries, and it was delicious and not too heavy and over sugary like store bought stuff. Overall we had a good time for a visit so we will be back to try other dishes
