Blue Star Tavern - Solon

We stopped yesterday for our second visit and it was good as the first of the Hamburgers freshly padded and cooked to Perfection or homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious whether you were a new customer or an old service here was excellent the portions were sufficient for the crowd charged and the guys in the bar were creepy. We recommend this place for lunch also other events only by appointment.

Wow, it's been there all the while! I have been driving past this place for 8 years now, since starting to work in the area. It's an older looking bldg and seems to be busy quite often. A few of the guys were talking about it, so I inquired about it for our next business gathering. So when our friend called to get together for a business lunch, I suggested it over the lizard. To my surprise the food was very good, service was great. At the time, carbonated beverages were unavailable, but the unsweetened tea was a good substitute. We've been back twice since our first trip and will be stopping again. Great place for a small business lunch or an after work gathering to catch up with friends.

I visited for lunch while at the Clubmaster, and the owner prepared a blackened Walleye for me, even though it wasn’t on the menu until later in the day. The food was excellent, and the service was good. If it weren’t an hour away, I would eat here every day!

This was our first visit, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the customer service was very friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. I can definitely see us returning in the future.
