Old Danish Fudge Kitchen - SOLVANG

I got a slice of rocky road fudge, not impressed!I have tried many Rocky Road fudges, but this one was overwhelmingly sweet and did not taste like rocky road.

My favorite fudge place in the entire world! My family would go to Solvang every 4th of July growing up and the Old Danish Fudge Kitchen was a must-visit every time. My parents told me I could buy eat a piece of fudge for every day we were there and I happily took that as a challenge ?

Incredible experience. Hard to say what we liked better the delicious fudge and caramel apple or the warm friendly hospitality upon entry. Highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

If I could give zero stars I would. Came here to get some good fudge and was leaning on the Dark Chocolate Walnut fudge but my stupidity was I asked the storekeeper, what would she recommend. She suggested plain fudge or rocky road fudge as they are the best sellers. I went for the Rocky Road and later when I took a bite, the fudge taste was overpowered by sugar. It was too sweet for my eight year old too who loves normal chocolate. I should have gone for the Dark Chocolate fudge, at least I feel it must have been less sweet. Don't want to dare to try another fudge here. Still thinking how I can eat the fudge, may be put a little in a glass of milk and make chocolate milk shake or something.
