Írjon visszajelzéstWhile in the restaurant with my parents I had the opportunity to talk to the cook in my mother tongue (Bengali). She seemed a really nice lady. 2 minutes in conversation, the manager of the restaurant (possibly wife of the owner) began to spray the chef and asked her to come back to the kitchen. She called her because she spoke directly to the customers. We felt a little strange after this incident, but we didn't react. After about 10 minutes the same cook came out and said that one of the ordered items was not fresh, so we should change it. We were very aware of their concern and immediately changed the order. When the manager knew about it, she went back to the kitchen and began to spray the cook very badly. She was so loud that we could hear every single word she said. We felt very uncomfortable and a little annoyed in the reaction of the owner. We still didn't react and stayed calm. In the end, when the waiter brought us the receipt, it was not the changes we had made in order, so I suggested that they should correct it. After the manager made the changes, he cried back to the chef. The manager (man of the manager) had crashed into the restaurant some time ago. He also started screaming at the poor cook and was very rude to her. I was almost afraid if he beat her. We haven't seen anything but hearing everything. I called the Somerville police and asked for police officers, but it went to their voicemail. Then my parents advised me not to pursue this because they said it was not serious enough to report to the police. I still feel responsible for telling everyone about this incident and thus the post. I will publish this to every portal Yelp, Trip, Google and open table. Thank you.
This restaurant serves the best Indian food in the Boston area. The service is fantastic and the dishes are incredibly delicious, not to mention affordable. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Great food, cheap, in a surprising location. One does not expect more than one place with seating, but the interior of Royal Bengal is welcoming and comfortable. Our group of three demanding, experienced diners was particularly pleased with the Bengali specialties. A good place to enjoy an excellent meal with friends. Take-out is available for those in a hurry.
