Michael's On Main - Soquel

The music at this restaurant was fantastic. The garlic fries were delicious. However, for $16, it would have been nice to have some onions on the burgers.

Pre-meal sides were served, but the dishes were never cleared. Two meals were forgotten, with one eventually coming out and the other needing to be placed in a to-go container (which was comped). Drinks were not refilled at all. The staff seemed to be at 50% capacity or less, yet there was a rushed atmosphere and absent service. The food was edible but not particularly outstanding. For example, the Benedict was served without an English muffin and the eggs were poached hard, while the fish and chips were fried dark brown. There was no special atmosphere or service, and it was not a brunch experience I would want to repeat, especially on Mother's Day. There was no sense of celebration in the air. I was disappointed to see so many positive reviews when our experience was subpar in every aspect. It felt odd to be at a restaurant and receive such lackluster service.

We paid $108 for two tickets for dinner and a show. We were seated outside on the back patio with a blocked view of the stage. It took over 20 minutes to place a drink order, and our servers mixed up our entrees with another table. We were very cold. The sound quality was mediocre to poor, but the musicians were talented. We have no plans to return to this restaurant.

Nice place! Nice waiting staff. Great management. It liked everything. There was a bartender who was just an idiot. He refused to make eye contact with any moss, while he cleansed his area for 15 minutes. It was just Saf. They had a private party outside, with their own bar there, but this dude (bartender) was catering for them over the regular patrons who were there for live music. He was super nice to me, but what about all the other straight putz. Otherwise the place is beautiful

Very friendly waiters. Great views of wildlife and brook. The food came fast and was hot. Total great experience
