Il Borgo - Sorrent

We would like to acknowledge and applaud the hotel La Badia for recommending Il Borgo. This recommendation by the hotel really helps we tourists. We were picked up by one of the staff who is also a cook. From the beginning to the end our experience was nothing but excellent, food, service and panoramic views. Note there little to no parking. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We passed this beautiful little restaurant while on the scooter one day and decided to pop in for lunch. They only do certain dishes for lunch so we didn’t get to try the pizza. However, everything was delicious! Beautiful view and great service!

We had a fantastic experience at Il Borgo. The food is very fresh and delicious, the servers are very friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic with a wonderful view of the Sorrentine coast! The homemade pasta with seafood was especially delicious and one of the best pastas we had in Italy, and they helped make my wife’s birthday special too. Prices are also very affordable. They even shuttled us back to our hotel in Sorrento after dinner! We were not expecting this and it saved us on cab fare and helped make our experience even more perfect. We would highly recommend going up to Il Borgo for a lovely dining experience!

This restaurant was wonderful! My fiancé emailed in advance to reserve a table and the restaurant provided two tables for us to choose from upon arrival. We started with the meat and cheese board and a 0.5 liter of house white wine, both were delicious. For dinner we split the calzone which was outstanding. Service was friendly and fast, prices were very affordable. Highly recommend! And worth the hike up the mountain to get to.
