Local pub, iconic in South Amboy. Brunch on Sundays is amazing with a specially creative menu and live music but put your order in asap because the queue can be long and there's only one chef who happens to be the Best Chef 15 miles in each direction. Fidays and Saturday are steady with a heavy income of patrons after 10pm. At this hour its Very fun, great 80s and 90s music always playing with a long list of requested songs from the clients. The sad part is when the pub closes at 2am. Just whatever you do, NEVER feed the fire place on a Tuesday night . Head Staff are very professional, ambitious, hard working and helpful. Waitresses are the local beauties and they ALL make a hell of a Long Island Iced Tea. I recommend this spot. Having lived in this town for just a month and a half and visited nearly every local bar, I can confidently say this is my favorite place. Every time I walk in, Jay and Hector greet me like family. The drinks are fantastic, and the bartenders are incredibly friendly. If you visit on a Monday, be sure to see Jess—she's amazing! The food is always fresh, and the chef prepares the most incredible homemade salsa. With live music, great vibes, and wonderful energy, it truly offers everything you would want from a local bar.
