The Captain's Galley - South Beloit

I've been coming here my entire life with my Dad and siblings, now I come with my husband and kids. There is nothing like a Captain's Delight! The soups are fantastic too. Everything is always freshly made right in front of you, delicious, and handed to you with a smile.

Great sandwich shop that has been there almost forever. Good food and good service. They have a punch card you get punched each purchase and when it is full you get a free sandwich too! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub that you can also get as a wrap to decrease carbs. The veggies are delicious and their sauce really makes it super tasty. Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu of smaller sandwiches and fun foods for kids.

Old school place. Small menu and your basics. Fast service and a local joint. Prices average but meat was generous and filling on sandwiches.
